Fiber Optic Connector products by TTI Fiber

Overview

Fiber optic connectors are the critical interface that couples light from one fiber to another. A fraction of a decibel in insertion loss — or a few decibels of return loss — can mean the difference between a flawless 400G link and a link plagued by bit errors. That is why TTI Fiber manufactures every connector with precision-polished zirconia ceramic ferrules, controlled spring force, and strict end-face geometry that meets or exceeds IEC 61754 and TIA-604 (FOCIS) standards.

Our portfolio covers every major form factor: LC (1.25 mm, push-pull), SC (2.5 mm, push-pull), FC (2.5 mm, threaded), ST (2.5 mm, bayonet), and MPO/MTP (12/24 fiber). Each type is available in UPC and APC polish grades, in single-mode or multimode versions. For FTTH field installation, we also offer quick-assembly connectors that require no epoxy, no polishing, and terminate in under 2 minutes.

Every production batch undergoes 100% interferometric end-face inspection and insertion loss testing on calibrated reference-grade master connectors. Whether you need a single fiber optic connector type or a mixed kit across all form factors, we support OEM branding, custom kitting, and bulk orders with 3–5 day lead times.

Why Choose TTI Fiber Fiber Optic Connector

01

Insertion Loss ≤ 0.2 dB

Precision-polished zirconia ferrules and controlled spring force deliver consistently low insertion loss across all connector types.

02

100% End-Face Inspected

Every connector undergoes interferometric end-face geometry testing — radius of curvature, apex offset, and fiber height — before leaving the factory.

03

Quick-Assembly Field Connectors

Pre-polished mechanical splice connectors for FTTH field termination. No epoxy, no polishing equipment. Assembly in under 2 minutes.

04

Full Form-Factor Coverage

LC, SC, FC, ST, MPO/MTP, E2000, and MU — in UPC and APC, single-mode and multimode. One manufacturer for every connector need.

Frequently Asked Questions

UPC (Ultra Physical Contact) connectors have a flat-polished end face and provide return loss ≥ 50 dB, suitable for most data and telecom applications. APC (Angled Physical Contact) connectors have an 8° angled end face with return loss ≥ 60 dB, required for analog CATV, PON, and RF-over-fiber systems where reflected light must be minimized.

LC and SC connectors are not directly interchangeable because they have different ferrule sizes (1.25 mm vs 2.5 mm). However, you can use a hybrid LC-SC adapter to connect the two types within a patch panel.

Quick-assembly (fast) connectors are designed for FTTH field installation where traditional epoxy-and-polish termination is impractical. They use a pre-polished ferrule with an internal mechanical splice, allowing technicians to terminate fiber in under 2 minutes with only a cleaver and a visual fault locator.

Our standard connectors are rated for ≥ 500 mating cycles (LC, SC) or ≥ 1,000 cycles (FC, ST) with insertion loss change ≤ 0.2 dB, per IEC 61754 and TIA-604 testing protocols.
