Overview

A fiber optic splitter divides a single optical input into multiple outputs — or combines multiple inputs into one — without any electrical power. It is the key passive component in every PON (Passive Optical Network) deployment, enabling one OLT port to serve dozens of subscribers. TTI Fiber supplies both PLC (Planar Lightwave Circuit) and FBT (Fused Biconical Taper) splitters to match every network topology, budget, and split-ratio requirement.

Our PLC splitters use semiconductor-grade silica waveguide technology for uniform splitting across the full 1260–1650 nm wavelength window, compatible with GPON, EPON, XGS-PON, and 10G-EPON. Split ratios range from 1×2 through 1×64. Package options include bare fiber (steel tube), ABS box, LGX cassette, mini plug-in module, and 1U rack-mount tray.

FBT splitters remain cost-effective for low-ratio splits (1×2 to 1×4) and wavelength-selective applications such as CATV 1310/1550 nm WDM.
